Color yellow, orange and red watercolor pencils onto dry watercolor paper and spray with Ink Potion Number 9. Use a brush to blend the colors slightly and allow to dry (for more information, read the May Project of the Month entry on the Stamp Color Create blog). Stamp the bird onto the dry background and cut out the image. Stamp the bird onto a piece of patterned paper from the 6x6 Fernbrae collection (approx 4 inches by 4 3/4 inches). Add the cut out image onto the patterned paper. Wrap the gingham ribbon around the front of the patterned paper and adhere to the backside of the patterned paper. Tie a bow and glue it onto the flat ribbon. Stamp the Heart Notes and the "Spring is here" stamps onto Eggshell cardstock. Cut a "word balloon" shape out around the heart notes and cut a tag shape around the "Spring" message. Dauber the edges of these two pieces with Gingerbread ink and adhere to card. Punch 3/4 inch circles out of the patterned paper from the Fernbrae paper pack and glue along the right side of the card. Mount layer onto a Jack O Lantern notecard and add some Canary Yellow jewel stickers. Add Cherry Red Jewel stickers to the musical notes.
